Kuruva Island awaits you with its enchanting natural beauty and extremely diverse wildlife. It is a protected river delta, comprising of a cluster of islands in the Kabini River. You can row from island to island with boats and rafts provided by the Kerala Tourism Department, or simply go on a nature walk. The island is open during the months from October to May and there is a nominal entry fee. The time schedule is from morning 9 to evening 5. It is situated 15 km away from Mananthavady.
Meenmutty Falls is a three-tiered waterfall with a height of 300 metres and can be reached through a 2 km hike through the jungle from the Wayanad- Ooty road. During the rainy season, the waterfall is most beautiful and can be seen from a distance. But due to heavy water visitors cannot go close to the fall.
